4. To continue with my affiliate marketing networks tips, try to find a product that has a growing target market. It is best to know there will be a continuous demand for your product or service. Do some research on the Google trends site to see what volume of searches have been made on Google in the area.

5. Find a program that pays at least 30% commission and it is better to find one that pays residually. In other words, one that pays you every month as long as the customer you signed up stays signed up with them. That way you get paid more than once for a sale. These are not hard to find and the research time is well worth spent. You need to be rewarded for your efforts.

6. Be sure to check if their are any minimum quotas you must fill or target that is hard to achieve. Some affiliate marketing networks have prerequisites you must fill before you get commissions. Just make sure they do not make it impossible for you to get a commission.

7. Look for programs that offer you lots of tools and resources so you can have your business growing in the shortest time possible. Check to make sure an affiliate program offers you help such as banners, a series of pre-written emails, etc. Not all programs offer this kind of service.

8. Be sure the network you use has a system where you can easily check your sales and commissions. The best is one that you can access anywhere, anytime with a computer and internet connection.

9. A program that offers strong incentives for members to renew a monthly membership each time. An affiliate marketing program that has continuous upgrades and easy to contact customer service have a tendency to hold on to its members. This helps assure the growth of your networks.

10. You should find out what members are not happy with in a program. You can simply do a search to find a forum discussing the product you are thinking about promoting. Jump right in and ask if what downsides people have come across. You need to know and there is no harm in asking.

You should have an intense and thorough knowledge of the affiliate marketing network you are going into business with.

It is very helpful to avoid any future problems by doing some research into the company you are going to promote. Better to find out now than later.
