What would the web be like without Ebay? For those of you who are not members, you will find that Ebay is it's own culture. Ebay connects buyers and sellers from all over the country; all over the world. The item that you cannot purchase at the local superstore you can find on Ebay.

I have been a member of Ebay since the start of 1998. My very first purchase was in June of 1998. I probably bought a crappy laser pointer or some other sub-standard. Yes, I was there when there were little or no fees. A time when digital products and hosting auctions were not available. Ebay has definitely changed. I can recall my first sale: April 29, 1999, A Mark McGwire rookie card. At the time, it was hard for me to get rid of that card! But, I needed some extra cash and sold the card for $95. Boy, was I thrilled! (I was only 21 at the time). 9 years later, I have a feedback score of 100% and proud of it! At times, however,it seems tough, and at times impossible to compete with the mega Powersellers and online companies placing their products in any category.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Ebay experience. But, as I said prior, it is very hard to compete. I've sold only 27 products since my membership began 9 years ago. Perhaps I am a little lazy but at the same time, a bit intimidated. I have tried my hand at ebook and script sales, but you need to sell a whole bunch to make any cash!
