Learning About Arizona

The Grand Canyon State, is a super place to live. The weather in AZ is nice that one could have shorts on all year around. Sometimes, I might.

But is because I live in the AZ higher desert region. The Grand Canyone State has many, many diverse regions that has changing climates. The northern part of Arizona, especially around the Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, receives snow and is a lot cooler than the southern region of the state. On the western border side of the state is the lower deserts and on the river, it's hot. Parker, Lake Havasu City, and Yuma all are wamer than Phoenix and Tucson (found in the upper desert).

This diverse environmental landscape also brings with it lots of stuff to do. There are many ski resorts in Northern Arizona, while there are awesome desert caverns in the Colorado River while the east part has diverse vegetation and landscapes.

Because of the diversity of Arizona, there brings many types of people. This is good for Arizona because, well, one type of something can make something else bland. Talking to people you will see that most come from either the midwest or California. There is a small black population with a growing Spanish population.

With Arizona's diverse people from a lot of different places also brings with it different ideas. Arizona headlines and talk stations on the radio show this. Political viewpoints tend to go to the conservative side, but there is a liberal governor. We also are home to the Air America radio network, a heavily democratic based talk radio network that is sindicated throughout the country. The leading talk radio station (according to records and radio dot com) is usually 550 AM KFYI, a heavily conservative station featuring hosts such as Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. KTAR, a FM news talk atation at 92.3, claims to be in the middle of the road, but shifts a little conservative.

Internet opinion and news forums, such as ArizonaNewsTalk.com, have become popuar forums for people to have discussion about current new and issues in a so much going on in The Grand Canyon State, you should take a road trip and see the state.

A lot of professional gold courses compliment the state, it's a great place for your short-haired pets, and the crime in the rural areas is relatively low.

Arizona is a perfect place to be!
